As anyone heard of using oralgel (yes the mouth numbing stuff) to numb your eyebrows. Someone told me this will work to cut out most of the pain. Anyone who has heard of this or tried it, please let me know what were the results. I have to pluck my today and I'm tired of it hurting all the time and I'm thinking about trying this.

I've heard of using Oragel to numb the brow area before plucking but never tried it because it seemed like overkill. Plus, I didn't want to risk numbing the area so much I couldn't feel if I were doing something harmful like pulling out more than one hair in the wrong direction.

Plucking becomes less painful over time. I also do a few things to make it easier.

1) Pluck after a warm shower so pores are open.
2) Use a comfortable pair of tweezers w/ an excellent grip. e.g. Tweezerman
3) Rinse w/ cool water afterwards or use a cool, wet washcloth as a compress.

if you end up not using the oral gel, at least use some body/face lotion/moisturizer!
