No, thats not true. Thailand has the biggest airport in Asia.

Yes but not implemented yet because the investors are getting tired of convincing government and also due to red tapes. Supposedly Clark airbase in Pampanga. The blueprints were already discussed & also the sky road from Balintawak directly to Clark Pampanga since the NAIA terminal 3 got a problem.

Who started the rumor? There is just no way - - - it is so unthinkable. It doesn't even make good economic sense. Why build an airport that will be well beyond the xtimes the forecast inbound and outbound traffic?

Could have been started by a factotum with nothing new to say.

a rumor means that it's partly true , there was news even 20years ago that clark or subic will have an airport similar to the new kl airport unfortunately our planners fail to implement the land connections to manila..... no budget for that but look they are starting to build the northrail and xpand the nlex

I'm from the Phillippines and I haven't heard anything about that because I keep in touch with my family and they live in Sampaguita outside Manilla.

I don't think there'd be takers seeing that the new and steadily rotting Terminal 3 remains unopened up to this day pending litigation.

it was announced that they will use the former clark airbase which can accomodate bigger air traffic than the present NAIA.

They cannot even get open a 99% constructed replacement terminal to the dilapidated NAIA airport terminal building.
