How many of you out there (men or women) think that reality shows SUCK and there's waaaaaaaaaay too many of them?

Why reality television garners high ratings astounds me.
Even the notion of reality television is misleading. Besides putting up a secret camera and watching people lead their lives, the situations in so-called reality television are staged or, at least, orchestrated for dramatic effect. People probably watch thinking that "this could be me," somewhat like the lottery.
Get these silly programs off the air, please.

Honestly, I wouldn't know because I don't watch TV. I think perhaps too many people spend too much time and thought on those shows, but I couldn't say if the shows themselves are good or bad because I have never watched one.

I can actually say I am a woman and some are not so bad but there way to many of them. Most nights that is all you see and there is no room for other shows.

I agree that there are way too many of them. the new ones that they are coming up with are pretty lame and knock offs of other reality/game shows

Depends on the reality show.
I like only a few of them, most others are jaded. The ones l like now are 'On the Lot' and 'You think you can dance?'

I agree with you. The problem is, a lot of people like them. The networks will continue making them because they seem to attract large audiences.

I still like Survivor and The Amazing Race, but I think all the rest of them are crap.

i like a few reality tv shows like survivor, flavor of love, hells kitchen but mos of them arent that good.
