I'm a 17 year old male. I weigh 178 lbs and my height is 5'8. Around how many pounds do I have to be to start noticing changes in my body. I run 30 min a day at 8 mph and work out a different muscle everyday.

It isn't about pounds...it's about toning. Get someone to take pictures of you front, back and side. Then in a couple of months, take new pictures in the same clothes, standing the same way. Often these things are not noticeable to you as you look in the mirror every day and don't see subtle changes. Pictures will show you the evidence clearly.

Are you lifting weights? Your body is not going to automatically lose fat and put on muscle. If you are already overweight, you are probably one of those people whose body naturally is prone to holding more fat. Exercise, eat healthy, and lift weights.
