for those who saw the movie, what do you think of a sequel? who would you want in it? this was in yesterdays (july 19, 2007) edition of usa today.
me personally, i would love to see a sequel and possibly a prequel about the end of cybertron.
as for characters i would have galvatron, ultra magnus, maybe blitzwing the triple changer, a combiner or two like bruticus or menasaur.

It depends on the money from the video sales. If the movie makes a significant profit on video then they will make a sequel but if video sales tank then the sequel will never happen. That movie cost a lot of money. I am pretty sure they want to make a sequel but it is all about the dollars. If the movie breaks even and the video does well then sequel. If the Box office is no good and the video is good then straight to video sequel. It always works that way.

So long as there are a lot more cool robots and a lot less annoying humans, then I am totally game for a sequel. And please, Please, PLEASE... get a different director than Michael Bay. I liked the Transformers movie, but it could have been so much better.

Please, NO SEQUEL!!! Some things are better left untold and left to the imagination. The movie was excellent.
