I am having a strange symptom, well, strange for me. I was on birth control pills for 10 years. So I only ever had a light 4 day period. Now that I've been off the pills trying to get pregnant, I've had relatively normal cycles. About 5 days of bleeding. Now for some reason, I've been spotting. I have never in my life spotted. Monday, I was thinking I had started. But then on my next trip to the bathroom...nothing. Wednesday, same thing. Light spotting, then next trip and subsequent bathroom visits...nothing! This is highly infuriating! This is the right time of the month, so I thought, maybe I was pregnant, and had implantation bleeding. Test said negative. Now today, I feel light headed, and lots of bleeding. Is this a miscarriage, or a weird cycle? I've also been wondering what an ectopic pregnancy was like.

Just your body readjusting to not being on the pill. Don't worry. Been there done that. It took me around a year before everything was "normal" again. And your body changes over the years. What a period may have been like 10 years ago, may not be what you expect now. Believe me. lol
