Actually, the new trend now is bilingual education, especially for little ones. Many school districts are implementing this instead of ESL. The best thing to do is search for school districts in the area you want to work, and see if there are jobs that way. Now, being qualified to teach is a whole different story. You must hold a bachelor's degree, preferably in education, and teacher certification. Because this is a high demand job, especially where I live (Texas), school districts may help you with the certification part, but you still have to meet education expecations. Good luck.

There aren't many jobs for teaching languages anywhere in the U.S. unless maybe you can teach arabic. Most people who teach English to Spanish speakers do it part-time. And it pays very little. If you could teach advanced Spanish, for example, how to use Spanish for business or technology, you could do better. So, if you can teach a computer course in Spanish, you will probably find lots of opportunites since there is a great need and very few people who can do so.
