I find that this comes up a lot when I am someplace new, it takes a while to be able to become accepted by the "old" group. I was just my regular self, and people started to get to know me and like me, and I wasn't pretending to be someone I'm not so I didn't have to remember to be a certain way, and voila, love at first sight. Ok, well maybe second or third, but eventually, I won them over.

Very good answers, most of them. I just rated.

but like Snookuums, I believe the only adversity of any person is himself. When you understand yourself, you see you are not blaming other people or phenomena most of the time. You try to understand them, too.

I am going to answer your question, but, I am not going to feed your voyeurism in doing so. The answer: Persistence. Putting one foot in front of the other no matter how tired or in pain you may be. Getting out of bed every morning even when all appears to be lost. Holding your head up when others constantly berate you because of their fear of you. Never looking back when walking away from danger. Always remembering that you are unique and therefore you belong to no one other than yourself. Looking at the picture of the crucifixion of Christ and knowing that He never allowed adversity to shape His life.
There are many other ways to overcome adversity, but I believe you get the message.
My wife died when my oldest of three daughters was only 13. Enough of my situation; what about yours for asking this question?

Adversity isn't a one time occurance. Anyone living a real life has had to overcome adversity. Loss of loved ones. Divorce. Job loss. Any number of tradgedies. Any thing that doesn't kill you makes you stronger, to quote a cliche, but still true. We all find a way and go on to refresh our lives. Blessings on you.

Before it could be overcome, where did adversity originate? After it was overcome, where did it go?
I am sure adversity was overcome, but not sure who did the overcoming.

Well, when I was a child I was abused and then one day I eventually decided to tell on the person that did that to me, and then they went to jail and now I am recuperated from all the psychological damage since I realized that I'm a strong woman and that I dont care what anyone says or does to me since I can fight back and be the same or 100000X more to the people that are like that to me. Simple. I learned that in life you either push down or be pushed down by your opponants and that's it. I learned that I am strong and can overcome whatever just putting my mind to it and working hard to forget it od go over it. And always, always I know that God is with me, so I can go on. And he's with you too.

actual lifestyles is all approximately overcoming hindrances and stressful circumstances? If we've one lifestyles, then actual the assumption is to apply it. Doing something ambitious, risky, troublesome, and so on. and surviving to stay yet another day would desire to provide a guy or woman self assurance to do an identical element lower back, or perhaps take greater suitable detrimental aspects. i haven't been a threat taker, so some distance, yet i think of it's time to "Carpe Diem" and earnings from daily. lifestyles's too short (fairly in case you do start up taking greater suitable detrimental aspects!). in case you want to get all philosophical, I consider Ludwig Wittgenstein while he reported, "never stay conscious on the barren heights of cleverness, yet come down into the fairway valleys of silliness." ;)

biggest thing ive had to overcome was myself... i was my biggest adversary.. my thoughts and actions were so negative that i became a toxic person i blamed everyone else for my short comings... it got to a point were people avoided me... what helped me overcome this was understanding, it's not about me... instead of placing my needs first i reorganized my life's priorities...
1. God
2. Family/Friends
3. Career
life has been great ever since that decision... hope this helps :-)
