A lot of famous real and fake people are this way so maybe it was simply guessed Peter Griffin, Homer Simpson, Eric Cartman, Don Mario, Luigi Mario, Hank Hill, even some real ones Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld both created Seinfeld but Jerry was the seen actor it continues to stretch so maybe these created the assumption!

Probably not since people from that region aren't like that today for the most part. Whether they were like they are now in the time of Jesus and Moses is another question.

No they looked like they were from that region of the world. It was the catholic church that made them have blond hair and blue eyes so that Europe would embrass them more easily

Nope- their ancestry is middle-eastern, not european so I really doubt they were white.
