I'm going to say WVU. Easy schedule and the most explosive offense college football has seen in quite some time. Watch out for USC. WVU vs. USC?

#2 Michigan @ #1 USC for the National Championship. USC has one of the fastest defenses college football will have ever seen, while they are still physical as well. Michigan hits the other end of the spectrum with only 3 returning defensive starters, but possibly the most explosive offense with Henne at the helm, Manningham out wide, and Hart in the backfield. USC doesn't embarass Michigan like they did in last years Rose Bowl, but they pull it out with a hard fought 24-21 victory.

Two Snubs: #3 West Virginia goes undefeated, #4 LSU goes 12-1 and wins the SEC championship.

First of all let me start off by saying, The Florida Gators were FAR from dominating last year. I barely squeezed by several of their games last year! Yes, they won the National Championship game easily to a 3 month lay-off team, but they didn't dominate their regular season schedule!
Now that I got that nonsense out of the way, on to the question..... There are going to be a few teams in the running this coming up year. USC will have a great team returning. Michigan will too. WVU will have an easy schedule as always...and with their top rated quarterback and running back combo returning, the will have an unstoppable offense....Well unstoppable to the likes of Louisville and Rutgers defenses.....
But my pick to win it all this year is going to have to be the Florida State Seminoles. They have probably the hardest schedule and if they get by UF at the end of the year, and win the ACC Championship game, it's ON like Donkey Kong, boys and girls!!!
Oh and I hate to burst another bubble, but Caleb King is suspended next year....

I would expect the game to be between USC and either LSU or Arkansas. They play at the end of the year, and I think for the opportunity to be in the SEC championship. Most of the off season nonsense that Arkansas went through is over and McFadden is a monster.

Of course if it is USC-Arkansas, the Razorbacks could not be happy, seeing as USC layed 120 points on them the last two years.

The media and many others would love to see a USC-LSU match up, and it would be talked about as if it would settle the split championship of 03/04. Of course it wouldn't, but you know you can see the headlines now!

I would pick USC, partially because I am a USC guy, but also because of the returning talent, and Coach Carroll. This is going to be the year another NC gets added to Heritage Hall.

LSU- People are a little late on their pick for LSU. Do not tell me they can just reload from everything they lost. Ole Miss took them to overtime WITH all their stars.

Florida- Too inconsistent. They were not even dominating last year when they had a slightly better team.

West Virginia- Easy schedule but they could lose against a Pitt or @ Maryland, @USF.

USC- They seem to always have a stretch where they could lose vs. lower level competition like Oregon St, or UCLA. Plus close games vs. Wash, Wash St. Arizona St.

Texas- They only play one game and voters like them so it is possible.

Michigan- Decent starters returning. Host Ohio State this year. Have a tough September though. Last game is November 17th which people dislike.

I'll pick California- If they beat Tennesee early (which they will) they will be thrust into the limelight. The they will be set for a date with USC on November 10th @ Cal. This could possibly be a top five matchup, winner jumping up even higher in the rankings.

Well, I would say Michigan, but Llyod Carr is still their coach, so theirs no chance. USC has to be your front runner, so much talent and most of it comming back. Also watch out for the perrenial contenders in Ohio State, Florida, Texas. OSU will have a great team provided Ginn and Gonzales return, Ginn's father will put heavy pressure on him to get his education, however they have a major question at QB. Tebow will be interesting, I can't wait to see him play every down, Georgia doesn't have quite enough talent, West Virgina doesn't have a defense and much of their offensive line is retiring. Louisville is also a great team but if Brohm leaves they are screwed. Should be a great season and just like this year, wide open.

University of Georgia. They have a young, fast, rocket armed QB named Matt Stafford. They recruited the #1 RB out of High School in the USA named Caleb King.Kregg Lumpkin is a great RB also.Fullback Brannon Southerland will be drafted in the NFL next year without doubt,Vikes are all ready looking at him so I've heard. They have backup QB Joe Cox,who comes out when its time to scramble watch out for him.UGA has always had awesome defense and punting/kicking teams.Brandon Miller is the highest rated middle linebacker in NCAA right now.

Watch out for Mark Richt and the Georgia Bulldogs

TEXAS LONGHORNS!

The Big XII is still a tough conference despite every ones love for the SEC. The winner of the BIG XII always has a back door chance of getting to the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP game and this year will be no different. When The HORNS finish November with a undefeated record...The BCS is gonna be slobbering all over themselves to give Pete Carroll and USC another chance at the HORNS! In the end THE TEXAS LONGHORNS will once again be CHAMPS

HOOK'EM HORNS!!!

I think there will be a couple of teams that may go undefeated, Texas, USC, LSU, Mich., WVU . Texas is likely to slip up one game because of rivials and a good scheldule. USC is a very good team but they have a really hard road games. LSU there defense is great but there in the SEC which is so unpreditable i think they will lose 1 game. Mich. have there QB and RB back and they are def out to win this year i think they go undefeated. WVU has they best offense in the country but there defense is so so. there schedule is fairly easy other than Louiville, Rutgers, and South Florida

My pick is WVU vs MICH- WVU wins in a high scoring game at the last sec

Texas reloaded and doesn't have much between them and the Big XII title, except maybe OU and possibly Texas Tech. LSU and USC are the sexy choices, but LSU will find it tougher to go through undefeated than Texas. USC, I think, will be tested by both UCLA and Arizona.

I really think that it will come down to Michigan and Texas for the championship.

Arkansas could pull it off if they just get average play from QB Casey Dick. The RB combination of McFadden and Jones is the best in America and with Peyton Hillis back and healthy and 15 more pounds of muscle it well may be the Hogs. The big game is Thanksgiving weekend against LSU in Baton Rouge. That winner will be in the BCS NC,
