Is there a way to tighten pumps and dress shoes that have become loose-fitting due to wear? I have a pair of favorite pumps that have become a loose fit and they slip off of my feet when I walk. I don't want to part with them! Thanks so much!

I'm surprized no one has suggested heel grips. They're foam stick-on things that you stick to the inside of the shoe's heel so it wraps around and grips your heel better. You can get them just about anywhere like Wal-Mart, Target probably, and Payless or any other shoe store.

Well its caused from excessive wear and there is no way to tighten the shoe itself. You can try several methods to keep them on your feet. One being useing tissue paper to stuff in the toe and the sides of your feet.

Sorry deary you can't. Unless you try gluing or duct tape and that isn't very fashionable.
Try to find some new ones that are are equally as cute or even more cute.

if they are not open toed or open back you can stuff cotten in the toe or heel(depends on if the ends are open)

short of stuffing paper towels in the front of your shoes, you will have to get rid of them.
