They're in the stall being very careful not to move or make a noise thinking we don't know they are in there hiding taking an extended bathroom break.

I always thought it was because they are taking a sh1t, and want people to leave so they can finish pushing..heehee
It's fun to make noises like you're leaving..even open and close the door and wait...after a minute you hear them start nnnnnnghhhhhh again, then you pretend to sneeze real loud and that really scares the crud out of them. Or you wait..and after a minute, you see their face look from under the stall to see if the coast is clear.
Damn, people are way too uptight!

What does this question have to do with "Boats & Boating"? Besides, who cares if people hang out in the bathroom stall for what you perceive as "hiding". Perhaps they are attempting to get away from everyone and get some peace and quiet for a few minutes.

U ususally take naps but then my can falls asleep and then your legs tingle and you can't stand up and someone would always come in and even though there is 8 empty stalls they got to bend a fresh bisquit next to you! How rude!

I've seen the feet under the stall a few times-- always wonder what exactly the person is up to...

Yes, I've also heard little scraping noises, and always asumed some is cutting coke or something. People sometimes just don't realize it's not a good hiding spot!

But how do you know they are hiding? Maybe they are making a number two or something and hold it in when someone else enters the bathroom.

In middle school, there was this girl who would skip PE and hide in the bathroom. I don't see why she would rather crouch on a toilet instead of doing PE, our PE teachers didn't even care if we just stood there and watched.

The last place I worked at one guy would take the newspaper in...and he would try to slowly turn the page so he would not be heard.
Another guy used to do the same but he'd rip one off and everyone would know he was in there....

i used to take "power" naps in the stall at my old work. I'm off the drugs now so i don't do that anymore
