They need to be buyers! They need pitchers. They can trade Rollen, Edmonds, Kennedy and Ankiel. Ryan can handle third and Ludwick and So can take the outfield. Spiezio can play most any position. Maybe they need to let him pitch more!

I don't believe you will see the Cardinals as a buyer or seller. Remember, they have been without Carpenter all year and they won the world series last year with the same core group of players. I think they could make a few changes in the off season to get ready for next year.

KNowing Walt Jockety - he'll do nothing. We are down our top two starting pitchers, so we better be buyers! Trade Edmonds, Rolen, Encarnacion, and Taguchi for at least one good starter. He could have had Buherle for a good price, but NOOOOOOO. He ignored that one!
