Both, it that depends on the nature of the question. If it is a interesting soccer question than I would rather earn respect. If the question is bragging or ragging than I prefer to amuse, especially when it involves the U.S. Mexico rivalry.
Soccer, like any sport, exists to entertain us by watching or playing. It is, therefore, by its nature not a serious subject; so amusing is at least half the fun.

Both. I hope have the respect of users in this category. I hope that i have made them laugh on many occasions, but i do like to show off my football knowledge.
I agree with MJ and Babboy the season hasn't started ane there is nothing much to talk about, except transfers and pre- season friendlies, talking of which Manchester United beat Korean side FC Seoul 4 nil today!

I never liked showing off (no matter what it is), but I try to answer the serious questions as best as I can, and the random joke questions I either ignore or if I find them interesting I'll reply not so seriously.
So I guess its a little bit of both.

Well, I kinda came here to show my footie knowledge in the first place. As time went on, people just seemed to laugh at my answers and I enjoyed that. So I think it's a bit of both.
You're welcome.
