No, because I think that sarcasm can be a dry sense of humor at times, sometimes even subtle and I think that it takes a quick thinking person to catch on to that humor.
Besides, I though limericks were the lowest form of wit.

Sarcasm was very popular in my family growing up and I did not think it was funny. IT HURT MY FEELINGS. Now as an adult, sometimes I use sarcasm with others, but I try to be aware if I am going too far and someone's feelings are getting hurt.

If it is done tastefully sarcasm is the opposite, but simple sarcasm, such as "Well no...."Is a very low form of wit I agree.
