There's 3 that I know of:
1. Clubpenguin.com- you can talk to people in the form of penguins - its a fun game but can be frustrating, because there's a word filter. You can never be quite sure if ur message went through- dont be confused if there's an akward pause and it seems like no one is saying anything around you.
2. Neopets!- this game is very fun! filled with neomail, boards, and the responsibility of taking care of your neopets.
3. Runescape- i think thats how you spell it- i don't play this but I've heard its fun
PS: Webkinz is another fun game but its not free thats why im telling u this last- you have to buy a stuffed animal and that guarentees that ur account is good for one year- its at times much more fun than clubpenguin and neopets because u can talk to people but also make awesome houses- theres a word filter but it tells u if ur message go's through or not.

You'd probably enjoy pogo.com. All the games come with a chat room attached. They have tons of free games and also games that are restricted to "club" members only which costs about $40 per year.

club penguin is a fun game. you have to pay real money to get clothes and stuff but it is a fun game even without them. and free clothes sometimes get given away now and then at parties. come to think of it i think there's a party coming up on the 17th of February! and you can buy some things without money too like pets and more. you buy them with money you earn for the games included in the game. i think there's about 15!
