Not on purpose since it makes her flick hairs off her abdomen which leaves a bald patch. Sometimes when I'm feeding her the bug will startle her and she'll respond with a few flicks, but usually goes right for the bug after that.

i don't have a tarantula but i have a dog and a hermit crab but it didn't work out too well with the crab....ouch!
