Statistically, your statement is correct. There are numerous causes that predispose minorities to a life of crime. Including: lack of an intact and supportive family structure, poverty, violent environment, and lack of education, too name a few. Often, minorities are participants in a vicious cycle that they do not have an option to break. Peer pressure and lack of upward mobility force inner city youth to commit crime in order to survive. Many feel prison is a better option than the desperate lives they lead.The more criminal acts that are initiated, the greater the chance of arrest and imprisonment. In my opinion, society must find an effective method to break the cycle and encourage minorities to follow a less destructive path. Rather than abandoning their communities, Black and Hispanic role models that have succeeded in life, need to step up to the plate and encourage youth to succeed as well. The inner city crime problem has not improved since the 1960's, and has only become more violent and widespread. The availability of lethal weapons, illicit drugs, and the glorification of the hip hop life style doesn't help the situation either.

It's a contradiction to say that more blacks & hispanics committ more crimes and then turn around and say there is a racial bias in the sys.
If there is a racial bias in the sys of course the statistics will say more blacks & hispanics committ more crimes. Truth be told so does every other race.

No they don`t create more crimes than whites.The justice system can be racist too.I heard that in America ''your guilty until they prove you Innocent'' here in Canada ''your Innocent until they prove guilty'' and we don`t have the death penalty here.
