Or so he says anyway. Let me be the first to say-good riddance. The guy has been a problem child all along.

You-too funny-maybe that is Lindros posting here (except for the "minor" pond scum part)

he's minor pond scum.

besides, it'll give him more time to be the guy at the bar that everyone is hanging around and having a good time w/.

besides, he'll speak his mind and maybe share his opinions w/ you. but don't be surprised if he pulls no punches. that's the way he rolls. (he also tends to be concussed easily.)

I know most people don't like Lindros, but he truly was an elite player in his prime. Had he learned to skate with his head up over the blue line, he might be one of the leagues better players today.

I don't think he should retire though. He is a big guy who can make some nice plays on a 3rd line.

EDIT: to the comment about lindros doing what tie domi did and make stupid comments for tsn... they already have Pierre Mcguire doing that!

yeah, Lindros was never amazing, even when he was a leaf.. he wasn't amazing, but he has been doing alot of work with the NHLPA and he thinks that it might interfere with his hockey, and that he would rather be part of the NHLPA but if he does retire his next step would probably be joining the NHLPA for good. But what ever he does it's better for the NHL, im honestly not even sure what team hes retiring from ;) cause i couldn't care less, but i dont think people need to sink down and refer to him as "pond scum" thats pretty unnecissary, but either then that, as once said by a great man (whos hopefully gunna find this his best answer :D) "Let me be the first to say-good riddance"

Well, I mean give the guy a break. I feel bad about the guy, his brain must be porridge by now. What 7 majors concussions, 8 concussions by now??

I remember his doctors told him if he had an other one he would possible die. Sure he's not much of a player now but I remember a time where he was awsome for the Flyers.

You could say the injuries screwed up his career. He should just retire already. No one even knows he plays for Dallas anymore. He should do a Tie Domi, work for TSN and make lots of dumb comments.

My disappointment in him is due to my own expectations. I liked him while he was with Oshawa and always wanted him on the Flyers. But, even though he was unable to deliver a cup, I am mostly disappointed by how he let Mommy & Daddy run (ruin?) his career.

The only thing he did that I liked was spackle the glass with Andreas Dackle of the Senators. And that in itself says a lot about why I am so disappointed by his on ice affairs. Yeah, at best he was a solid player - but definitely not a superstar like Mommy & Daddy wanted him to be paid like.

And the crying bit when he accepted the Hart Trophy.........not for me.

Say goodbye to the big baby. I'm glad if he retires. He's played an average of what, 30-40 games a season. He can't stay healthy and his play is dissappointing.

Good...I never could stand the guy. At the time I was also a big Quebec fan, and I just thought he was a total a** for doing what he did.....but it did improve them. Too bad they had to move before they won.

Another guy who goes down as a relatively major flop. Also the trade the Flyers made to get him had to be one of the worst of all time.

The way he has played the last few years, I thought he retired five years ago!

In any case, I would not call it a "hint at retirement." I would call it reality setting in that no one wants his gimpy butt.
