1. Friendly and mannerly people
For me: Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Wyoming
No-nos for me: Kentucky, Ohio, California, Florida, Alabama

2. Reserved but genteel and giving people
For me: Mississippi, Louisiana (cajun country), N. Carolina

3. Consistently nice, comfortable weather
For me: Hmmm...my pick would be California, although I have no desire to live there long-term. So, parts of Texas and the deep South have hot summers but mild winters. I'll go with that.

4. Urban living (i.e. the "fast paced" life)
For me: Texas, New York, Washington st., Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina

5. Rural living (i.e. the "simple" life)
For me: Texas, the Rockies, Pacific NW, or Southeast. (Take your pick.)

6. Which state would you like to spend the rest of your life?
For me: Texas!

1. Friendly and mannerly people
For me: I have never met a person in Tennessee I haven't liked, same for people in Georiga and also in Washington State.
No-nos for me: I do not like North Carolina (used to live there) and I also didn't like the people I met in KY either.

For me: The Southwestern Part of VA, Louisianna defeinitly and also Texas.

Anyone that says Virginia is crazy, its way too expensive and uptight, i think id would like the northwest, northern cal, oregon, washington....or id just live in canada. The midwest is super laid back, the south has people that are super nice, the northeast has the big cities and everything you could possibly need, the southwest has the nice dry weather. Everywhere has its good points, but its the bad points you gotta be able to live with.
