Due to the type of criminal acts that he is being accused of absolutely. No person, place or thing should be treated like those animals were handled. But we live in America where unfortunately money and status can get you out of most situations. No more Nike and other lucrative endorsements what is Lil' Mickey Vick to do ? I know tell him to watch himself on the field many dog lovers in the NFL..

Yes, and sports figures/celebrities in general need to be held more accountable for their actions instead of all just getting a slap on the wrist....They have the money enough to be educated so its even worse when they do illegal activities, they should know better and take responsibility for being in the public eye and setting an example for the millions of youth all over the world that look up to them.

Definitely, I am a huge football fan, and a dog lover. The NFL will suffer if they do not permanently suspend him.
Anyone that excuses his behavior like Clinton Portis does is as bad as he is. I am no PETA member, but it is unbelievably cruel to promote dogs mauling each other to death for amusement.
I always knew he was an even bigger creep than people thought.

Yes.
And on top of that. He should have to do the things he forced those poor dogs to do. What an cruel human being.
It wasn't even 3 years ago when he was at the top of his game. Everyone loved him. And he had endorsements out the wazoo. It's sad to see him go down the drain so fast.
I don't think he'll ever mend his public-image.
*That is, if he is convicted.

Sports need to step up and set a precidence. The only way crimes are going to drop is if the penalties are harsh. If I was convicted of this crime I'd probablly be fired. If sports step up and say non of this BS will be tolerated then you will get back to real men, gentlemen playing the game again. Someone for the kids to look up to, not people like "Ron Mexico"

Maybe not permanently, but at least for the season. However, I do not support in any way, shape, or form what he did. He should be punished to the full extent of the law and if that interferes with more than one season then so be it.

If he is found guitly....YES! A Suspension now is appropriate from the NFL. His owner may decide to just cut him and then he will be on his own. The suspension will help the owner make his decision.

If he is guilty (probably) then there can be no other alternative. The NFL has to save its face and not tolerate this kind of off-the-field behavior from anyone.
