Yeah Eagle...it's 'cause he's black. You're so ignorant. Don't you think if Joe Montana or Troy Aikman ran a dogfighting ring on their property people would be calling for their heads too?? Call it a BAN or a SUSPENSION it's the same thing. By the way...ever hear of punctuation? STUPID

I think he should not only be suspended from football for good if found guilty, but also by a rope. And while we're at it...give him a good dousing in water and put the live wires to him. See how he likes it when he has no control over what is done to him. People who treat animals like that (ESPECIALLY dogs, c'mon...they are the greatest things ever) should be shot.

If they find he was killing dogs and was there fighting dogs. (which you do know what the hell goes on on your own land)
Than banned for life. These Kids will never learn. Even after C.Henry, Pac-Man( from WVU my team) got kicked in the butt .STILL players are driving drunk staying out, getting arrested. So I say gone. Vic will be the big fish. If that doesn't wake up the Billion Dollar Baby's. Then try no pay for a year.
I would say tell there moms to crack-em on the head, but it looks to me more and more mommas are worried about the bling and money then the kid getting arrested 5 or 6 times.
................
Eagles it has nothing to do with race ! Sick and tired of it always race. Rodney King getting beat, M.Luther King shot, Edgar's shot, Holocaust ,List goes on THAT IS FREAKING RACISM ! Suspending someone who kills dogs for sport or driving while drunk for the 100th time or Carry's a gun when they are told NOT TOO ! That is NOT RACISM get it right.

IF Vick is guilty of the crimes he is accused of, then he should serve whatever penalty the criminal justice system determines to be appropriate.

The NFL has had many players with serious problems (as well as MLB and NBA). Many of these guys have been given second chances after serious offenses (including assaulting coaches/players).

I say that Vick needs to face this situation, get it behind him, and then see what might be salvaged of his career. If the NFL banned him permanently...that would be inconsistent and, quite frankly, a joke.

Yes, I agree that he should be banned from the NFL forever. After reading the indictment, I do not have the need for an OJ jury to tell me if he is guilty or not. He is guilty and more money in the hands of this sick sadistic disgusting ignorant individual would definately be a threat to society--

He needs to go to jail, he needs to spend 99% of his time there strapped in one of those rape stands he used on his dogs. When he is finally released from prison, since he will be broken and useless , well, I spose he should be electrocuted, hung, shot, drowned , put in a room with 8 vicious pit bulls, or slammed to the ground repeatedly -- I guess we could let him choose the method, being has he has a better understanding of which method suits the situation best!!!

I think he should. What people seem to be missing here is... what kind of a person could do those types of things... what kind of mind does it take to abuse, torture and kill a defenseless animal... cruelty to animals is the sign of a sadistic and warped individual... is that the kind of person who you would want to play beside, pay money which line his pockets to watch play... be a "role-model"... he knew what he was doing was wrong... and he should be punished to the fullest extent of the law...

I dont think that he should be permenatly suspended unless he is convicted and sentenced to 6 years in prison. if he is not found guilty, the trial itself will proablly take up to 3 months to settle. He will not be suspended if he is not found guilty because all the other players that were suspended were repeat offenders.

no because if everyone who did a crime could not work what would they do

the crap you here is not even true fighters beating dogs shocking dogs baiting dogs with rabbits and cats

its not true
fighting dogs have to be brave- beating and shocking a dog does not make it brave

fighting dogs fight dogs not cats or rabbits so cat and rabbits would not help at all

beagles are baited with rabbits so they will hunt them
like coon hounds with coons
police dogs with people

i can believe smart people believe this crap

its like iraq and chemical weapons

I don't mean to give you any disrespect but I'm getting to the point to think that anybody else that asks another Michael Vick question should be permanently suspended from Yahoo Answers. Enough is enough.

I don't think he'll be suspended permenantly, but after he's gone from the Falcon's what team would seriously take him??? besides the raiders and tampa bay...oh wait maybe the ravens...

Permantly? Come now - he didnt violate any NFL rules. He is facing (not yet convicted mind you) criminal charges, which if convicted will have to pay some type of price (time and/or fine). Of course there will probaly be some type of NFL suspension to go along with this, but a lifetime penalty is stupid to even think about
