I heard it was good for pregnant moms since it cleans every thing out and prepares for the birth.

Your not supposed to douch AT ALL during pregnancy... and 7up? Ouch that might burn...

DOUCHING

Do not douche during pregnancy unless your midwife suggests it for medical reasons. It will require special care and instructions, which she will give to you. Do not attempt it on your own.

No woman should douche, pregnant or not. Your body naturally cleanses itself. Douching interferes with that, and can actually make you more prone to infections and such.

Douching is especially bad during pregnancy, because it can force air into the vagina. This could endanger the baby.

Please consult your medical caregiver. They can advise you on this, but I am certain you will get told the same information I have posted here.

I have NEVER heard of douching with 7-Up. That seems absurd.

I'm wondering who told you that...you're getting sugar inside of you, you can give yourself and your child an infection.

Douche isn't a good idea for anyone. Your body has its own way of keeping things clean and needs some of the bacteria in there to fight off other diseases. Do you know that there's a bacteria in us that fights off UTIs and Yeast infections? If you douche, you clean out that helpful bacteria and open yourself up to anything.

But definatley DO NOT douche with 7-up. Who ever told you that needs to get knocked up-side the head!

Who ever told you that must of been sniffing paint. Douching is not good pregnant or not. Introducing outside elements inside can throw off your bodies natural ph. It also can lead to bacteria infections. You body naturally cleans itself. A little soap and water in the shower will do the rest.

no actually your not suppose to do it at all even when you are not pregnant. it throws off your bodies natural pH balance down there. it can make you get yeast infections more and leaves the area so that more infections can get in. I've never done it. I think that just washing your whole body with regular soap and water should do the trick. you vagina actually cleans it's self out. so don't worry about it. i was told by a doctor that you shouldn't do it.

You should not douche at all! Especially while pregnant. If there is any bacteria douching can force it further up into the uterus and cause miscarriage. Douching can also cause an air embolism, being deadly to you and your baby.

NOOOOOOO!!!!!! You should not douche with even plain water.Your body cleanses itself naturaly and putting anything inside your body by douching you are increasing chances for infections which is bad all the time but worse during pregnancy.

no. no. And no again. Think about that one.

Do not douche while you're pregnant.

Don't do anything as a matter of fact without the permission of your OB.

ohh noo! you should not douche at all while you are pregnant unless your doctor tells you to. I've never heard of using 7 up. I would think all it would do is leave you feeling sticky (gross!)
