Okay. If you were to take all of your DVD's (I'm talking about normal films only, held in the 1 / 2 disk standard cases - NOT series box sets) and then stack the cases on top of each other - How tall would the pile be ????

I'm pretty impressed with our dvd piles actually (don't always get tv signal and it can get boring!) I would say they come up to about my shoulder... I was tempted to go and stack them but I thought not, it could get messy and I'll probably end up doing something silly like dusting them all or arranging them alphabetically.

Hmm, well I definately would need a big ladder to stack them all up !
I don't have tv so I have quite a few dvds ( used to have a lot of videos too but I gave them away to make room)
About 20ft just from the ones in the living room.
Have loads more upstairs
I'm a hoarder lol

...I can no longer see TWO of the walls, in a master bedroom that's fifteen feet by fifteen feet, with nine foot high ceilings...and that's just the DVD's, not the thousands of VHS tapes that I STILL have!!!
...I cannot imagine stacking all my DVD's in one tall pile, but the height of the pile would definately be...oh, just slightly more than impressive!!!

All the serious gamers i've seen custom make shelves to their own specifications so the games fit perfectly and on their sides so there is no stacking required.
