I'm asking this because my other running backs are LaDanian Tomlinson, Willis McGahee, and Brandon Jacobs and I wanted to handcuff Tomlinson with Turner if LaDanian Tomlinson does get *knock on wood* injured since Turner will immediately start.

Brandon Jackson

Without a doubt Jackson has the better chance of starting for Green Bay. His skills and style are supposed to be very similar to Ahman Green, and if Vernand Morency were a viable long term solution at RB, the Packers wouldn't have drafted Jackson as their new franchise back.

Chris Henry has been so impressive for the Titans that they resigned Chris Brown. I don't understand how your question relates to your other situation though about picking up Turner. Do you have LT, McGahee, Jacobs as well as Henry and Jackson? If so, you could look to package Jacobs with another player and trade for Turner and an upgrade at another position, since I wouldn't imagine Turner is a free agent.

If he is somehow a free agent, cut your worst player (QB, WR or TE) or extra K or D to pick him up, and look to trade off one of the RBs you have. You should be fairly set with LT and McGahee as your usual starters, so there is no reason to carry 4 other backs (Jacobs, Henry, Jackson, and Turner) especially when 3/4 are not featured backs.

Brandon Jackson is the obvious choice here. Chris Henry has White to deal with along with Chris Brown (who has started there in the past). They paid White good money to be the man. Chris Henry has the measurable but was never the full time starter in college. So while he has a 33% chance of starting, Jackson has about a 75% chance. He has just one player he is really competing with (Morency). And he could not even win the starting job in Houston! So while there are no guarantees, Jackson is the obvious choice here... Even if Henry starts carries will be split 3 ways... Never a good thing for your fantasy team...

Henry is probably more likely to start since Tennessee has a lot of young guys in the backfield like Lendale White, Chris Brown is back but dont make too big a deal of that. Jackson will start eventually but I think they will use him with Vernan Morency the way the Colts used Joseph Addai and Domonic Rhodes last season.

Brandon Jackson, the Packers definitely need more help at running back than the Titans.

I say Chris Henry. They re-signed Henry because all they had was Lendale White, and they don't think he's starter material. Jackson will probably get some playing time, but the Packers will probably start someone with more experience.
