I guess if you married her for money and nothing else, you probably deserve whatever terrible thing she is doing to you.
And no, I wouldn't marry someone for money. First of all, I could never spend my life with someone I wasn't truly in love with. Second, I'm not shallow, lazy, or a moron, so I'm capable of making my own money!
My marriage is good because it's based on honesty and love. I hope your wife becomes wise to you!

No way. In the end your partner would make you feel like either they owned you or you owed them. Money can buy a lot of good times but it can't buy either happiness or love. Personally I'd much rather struggle financially with my spouse and be happy with a regular relationship then be miserable and have lots of toys and cash. Just the thoughts of an older guy.

'memeber what the old golddigger said "if you marry for money, you EARN it!" SO don't worry you're just earning right now. I knew a guy was married to a rich girl. He took this crappy job were we were working at to get away from her. The thing was they had more than enough work to do maintaining thier business, so by him going off to get a crappy wage earning job he was hurting the real income. People do amazingly dumb stunts.

No...if I married again, money would be a cool thing to have in addition to the reasons for marrying, but I wouldn't do it solely for that reason and your post explains why.
There isn't enough money in the world to make it easy to tolerate living with (as husband/wife) someone you just really don't dig.

I would never marry for money. I'm gonna marry my guy because I love him not because of how much money he has. (he doesn't have a ton) :) But we will work hard together and stand by each other thru everything and be a stronger couple because of it.
*hope everything works out for you. Don't know if you are the praying type...but pray for strength and patience*

No, but I did because the transmission in my car was going bad. Maybe I should have gone for the money. Same crap from the wife but could have fixed the car! lol

I do think it is wrong to marry for money, but not marry into a family with money. Money cant get you everything, it usaly mkaes things worse off. Maybetell your wife the truth about why you married her, and see if you cant work something out.

No, but I wouldn't marry without it, either...I grew up very poor and I've worked really hard to get out of that, and I odn't care who the other person is, I am not going to be poor again for anyone.
