Hi,
Analysing dreams is a fascinating process but very personal too. Although there are many web sites and books giving general interpretations for specific images, these cannot be taken too seriously. For instance one explanation of cattle in a dream is the need for caution in a situation or relationship but what if you live on a farm and see cattle each and every day. The dream is likely to be a residue of something you've recently witnessed. I think some dreams are 'significant and meaningful' and others are just the subconscious 'playing with' images/experiences etc and putting it all in some sort of order or filing it away. As you start to analyse the meaning of your dreams you will start to recognise the important ones. I'd recommend you read serious books on dream interpretation that help you understand your dreams from a personal point of view. It really helps. I've been interpretting mine and my family's for years and it really is fascinating and insightful.

Angelcat's advice is very good; I second it. Carl Jung is wonderful... and yes, dream meanings are very personal and I've found that every book/website I look at about dreams, never means very much to me... but when I look at what my dream symbols mean to me I discover sooo much...

Hi, UFOs.
The meaning of dreams is individual - unique to the person and what's on their mind at the time. That said, if you'd like to know more about the meaning of certain symbols, I suggest that you research Jung. He was a contemporary of Freud and wrote about the meaning of dream symbols as a reflection of the collective unconscious that we all share as human beings. Angelcat.
