The magic will never end for me. As for the Potter websites, I am not so sure that all of them will continue.

Some of the fervor will definitely die down. We can't stand it if there's something just out of our reach, but once we get it, it's not as interesting as it was. It's like at Christmas--we love all those beautifully wrapped presents under the tree, but it's not as neat when we find out they contained socks and underwear. Some of the magic dies once we know the outcome (pardon the expression), but there will always be new readers, and the books are good enough to stand on their own merits and keep old fans. I think they will be considered to be the Lord of the Rings of our generation.

Severly doubt it. Potter is truly a culture impactor which only a hand full of books and movies have had. Star Wars lasted long after Return of the Jedi (Before the idea of prequals came to light) Space Balls is still talked about, Indiana Jones, Jaws, all Citizen Kane, Casablanca have all stood the test of time. Potter will have an ending people will be talking about for years

I don't think the magic will end. I think that when the kids who are growing up with Harry Potter have kids - they will pass the joy on to them.

As far as the websites, I think that they will last until the last movie is made.
