Sweep through the whole place and make everybody who wants a better life go to a temporary camp. Those who want change would most likely comply. I don't think the people who are blowing everything up and shooting everyone would go. The only people left would be captured and shot. At that point you would have an opportunity to get the major amount of the weapons and build Wal-Marts. After that let the people go back to their normal lives. Considering the amount of money we've spent already this would have probably been cheaper and more effective.

The war was won...recall the "Mission Accomplished" banner...it is now civil war; which unfortunately will only be settled by bloodshed, an unstable peace and probably a rise of another leader with dictatorial powers. There is nothing that can be done at this point unless it is clearly spelled out that the military us an occupation force.

use every single troop the country has. iraq has to be swarming with american troops, THEN, ask the allies for more troops, get canada, get the UK, to send in some troops, THEN get the UN to send in some troops (aka peace keepers) so then u cant take a step with out a soldier patting u down or checking ur car. and if u have a bomb with u, u ar either killed or taken and interagated. bush needs to crack down and do this properly. he is doing a half as.s job.

I would have nuked them as well on 09/12, and not wasted 5 years jerking around, and killing 4000+ Americans. Would have made for a nice 6.5 million car parking lot
