dude grow up, i highly doubt you have the means to keep either.
piranha need shoals and a tank of 125 gallons or more to even begin to act menacing. further more they are illegal in MD.
i also doubt you couldkeep even FW barracuda, (they aren't really butlook kindlike them) they got 2' long and need a 125 by themselves.
SW barracuda get 8' feet long and need tanks in the hundred-thousand gallon range.

I truly don't understand why people insist on keeping animals that are improper for human purposes. Would you keep an elephant in your backyard? Would you put a whale in your swimming pool? How about an alligator in your bathtub or a gorilla in your bedroom? There are just some animals that belong in the wild and deserve our respect to keep it that way. When people choose these "mean" animals, they are doing so because they are trying to prove something about themselves. Which, usually, is a sign of a psychological insecurity. Hopefully, you'll think about this.

I do not live in MD but I got my RBP's from http://www.aquascapeonline.com and they were better looking than anything I could find locally and MUCH cheaper too and they do sell Barracudas as well. Good luck finding what you are looking for.
