My baby is 2 months old and on formula. Her stool is dark green with yellow pieces. I have read that it could be the lactose in the milk, should I change to lactose free formula?

heres the key to know if your baby is lactose intolerant
1. he's vomiting, or spitting up A LOT after a feeding
2. he's really fussy during feedings, before and after
3. diareaha
my son is lactose intolerant, it's frustrating but when you finally get it right, it's wonderful

No, she's not. It's not diarhea and no vomiting.. That poop is normal. The green is from the formula, the yellow seedy stuff is poop of a breastfed baby. The proteins in the formula resemble breastmilk, but not all theway, so thats why the poop is different colors.

no you should take the child to the childs doctor never change formula without talking to the doctor

Talk to your child's pediatrician. Maybe you should try soy?
