is there a way to tell if a fish is pregnant or if so how and what things will i need to do to insure a healthy fish family there are 2 other fish 1 molley 1 tetra.

The molly is the only one which can get pregnant - the tetra may have eggs if it's a female. Both will become more plump an rounded through the abdomen.
With the molly (and any other livebearer like guppies, platys, and swordtails), you can tell easily if it's a female because the anal fin (the one on the bottom near the tail) will be fan shaped. In males, it's thin and pointed. If your fish is a color other than black, you might notice two patches near the anal fin which become darker, and the belly will appear more square in the back just before she'll give birth. If the fish has been with a male, they can store the sperm and give birth about every 28 days for up to six months.
If yours is pregnant, you can add a lot of plants (real or fake) to the tank so the fry have a place to hide when their born, or you can get a breeder net or box for the female and put her in it just before she's ready to deliver.
With just one egglayer like your tetra, it's possibly that it might lay eggs, but without a male in the tank to fertilize them, you won't get any fry.

The molly will start to get bigger and will have a gravid (black) spot above her anal fin. The tetra will start to get plump with eggs.
Once the fish hatch and/or come out, remove the female and place her back into the main tank. You should buy breeding grass so that the fry have something to hide in. You can feed them newly hatched brine shrimp and fry food. You can place them in the main tank when they are big enough to not fit into any other fish's mouth.

You will know if she's pregnant if her belly gets really big and you see black spots on her belly (those are the fry). And all you need is to put her in a diffrent tank so she could give birth to all her fry there.

If it's got a big belly, then probably it is pregnant. If in doubt about paternity, consult Maury Povich.
