it depends on yourself and what you consider good grades.
what would you like to see on the 23rd?
what did you aim for?
did you do the best you could?

I (honestly) don't believe in good grades for the sake of them - much better to learn for the thirst for knowledge.

having said that, I hope you achieve all you want to.

I'm starting my GCSE's next year. I guess it's different for everyone depending on their ability and and potential. There are probably some people who would consider 1 A grade very good, while others might be disappointed they didn't get better results.
Personally, I consider 3 A's and 3 B's to be quite good, although I know I'm not going to acheive that when I receive my grades in 2 years' time!

A good GCSE result is one that meets your target grade. If you've done the best you can do and achieved your potential, that's a good result.

You can't tell a kid with SEN that an A* is "a good result" for them, and you can't tell an A* pupil that a pass is good enough. It depends on your own ability.

But try not to think about it now! There's no point losing sleep sleep over it - it's all over and done with! Good luck :)

I'm exactly the same as you! Everytime I think about it now I want to scream! But, what's done is done. You can't do anything about it now! There is no such as "good grades" to me because at the end of the day as long I'm satisfied who cares what anybody else thinks! I don't know if you're doing A levels but those are so much more important. I mean, there were so many papers I thought I did bad in but there is no point dreading about it now.

Good luck!

Anything above a grade C, with the odd A* thrown in for good measure.
