Just curious if scientists have done any study on that.. If it has a core or any other similiarities that our earth has.

I dont believe they did any core drilling when they landed on the moon. Considering it has been hit with space debris there could be any or all elements on the moon. Since the heat and gas of a star will create all elements, then some elements can get trapped in others (ie gas inside solid substances like carbon) then they get dispersed when the star dies they could eventually impact with the moon. So, the moon technically could be silver, gold, or an abundance of anything or just rock. Its a fun and even romantic thing to imagine the possibilities that are factually backed up with science isnt it?

The moon is a piece of rock basically with nutrients and minerals like any other piece of rock but bigger alot bigger lol. Some theories say that the moon is hollow in parts and some really interesting im not going to say crazy because everyone has a right to there opinion some people say that the moon is hollowed out by aliens and is used as a watching station for aliens to keep an eye on us and neil armstrong and aldren were told to never come back that no one should ever come back if the moon landing did infact happen.

Isn't it an Iron core? isn't that why they believe it to be made from a deep Earth impact? I haven't looked this up in AGES so I can't be sure but that's my thought.

Edit:
You can test gravitational pull for its' density, it's magnetic field (has to have a molten core for that.. I don't think the moon has one) ... . things like that.. .to get a fairly certain reading on what is in the center of a planet or asteroid or moon or whatever. I'm moderately certain the moon is believe to have an iron core.

layers and layers of rock. the moon was formed in the same way the earth was, from cosmic dust settling over time. no one knows for sure exactly what kind of dust, but essentially, the moon is solidified space specks. it is possible that the moon has a core, but hypothetically it would be smaller and more dense and less hot than the earth's core.
