Ok men, I need your help on this question.
I was seperated from my husband for 8 months and seriously contemplating a divorce. During the seperation, I had an emotional affair with my husband's ex-boss. There were times when he would tell me I should work it out with my hubby and then there were times when he became jealous if I even mentioned my hubby's name.

Just recently, I told him that my husband and I are going to work things out. Well the ex-boss got very jealous and started talking really bad about my husband and telling me that my marriage isn't going to work out.

Why did he tell me I should work it out with my husband and then when I told him I was; he got so angry?

he was hoping to get you for himself, but didn't want to be obvious about it

By telling you to "work it out" he appears the good guy and is looking out for your best interest.
By being the good guy he has earned more of your trust and you confide more in him.
He knows that if you confide enough in him line between friends and lovers will get blurred.
If you actually go back to your husband then all his time and effort has been wasted.

Look at his actions and they will tell you the truth of his intent.

To answer your question "Why don't men just say what they really want from females?"
Men know that being straight forward about sex may work for a one night stand, but playing the friend role gives us a better chance of getting sex regularly.

Because the ex-boss is interested in you, either sexually or otherwise. Why would you confide in your husband's ex-boss anyway? You should never discuss your husband with another man who is close to him. Don't you have relatives or friends you can talk to? And why would you have any kind of an affair with this man? Makes no sense.

You honestly do not need to ask this question...you know the answer. You just want some validation or something in regards to this. Too bad you did not have enough respect for yourself to stay out of another mans bed while you were contemplating divorce. Now you get to deal with yet another messy relationship. Good Luck!

I think that when he first told you to "work it out with your hubby", he was still hanging out with you as a friend, now that you've had your affair, there are some feelings involved on his end for you. So, it sounds like he wants you all to himself now b/c he's telling you not to go back to your hubby anymore b/c he likes you.

Your husbands ex-boss was wanting to get in your pants...he was trying to play on your feelings to see what you wanted. When you told him, you're going back to work things out...he felt alone and became jealous. He either still wanted to get in your pants or he doesn't like rejection. I just hope he wasn't creepy enough to play you, just because he didn't like your husband.

Your husbands ex-boss wants you. It may not have started out that way, but he's developed feelings for you. Why hasn't he told you? Likely fear, fear of being rejected and fear of creating problems in your relationship with your husband. He sounds like he's as confused as you are.

You already know the answer to this....it's because of your emotional affair with him....he thought he was going to get lucky and now he's angry, because you've chosen your husband over him.

Do you really want to know?

Basically dudes just want to bone you. And if you become a nag or boring, move on to someone else.

We do, females just keep translating it into something other than what we said. Why? If we say the sun is shining , what we mean is "the sun is shining" nothing more.
