He got caught because his cousin got busted for drugs and he gave them vicks address they were looking for more drugs and they found the dog crap. I mean what are the chances that we know nothing of Vicks dog fighting sega.

Dude, that's how these things happen sometimes. One of my neighbors property got searched for stolen car parts, but in the process they found Guns, Drugs and bootleg DVDs. Sometimes the cops just get lucky too!
