The Islamic republic of Iran has once again resorted to the techniques they learned from the Soviets during the early days of the Islamic revolution: arresting peaceful dissidents on trumped-up charges, coercing confessions that they have been trying to overthrow the regime, and parading their prisoners in public.

This time, these KGB-style “confessions” of American-Iranian scholars Haleh Esfandiari and Kian Tajbakhsh on Iranian state television confirm that there will be no more “reform” or “reformists” in the Islamic Iran’s political landscape.

The American-Iranian scholars who have been held in Iranian prisons on national security charges worked so hard to promote the reformist faction of the Islamic regime in the United States and Europe. They worked passionately to promote dialogue between the United States and Iran. Yet, the regime has "formally charged" them with endangering national security. The regime claims that they are “guilty” of trying to undermine and topple the theocracy by opening up the country to the West.

It is high time that we put our credulousness to one side and start to take the statements coming from Tehran seriously. Moreover, we should be putting every ounce of diplomatic pressure possible on Tehran to release its hostage-prisoners.

Opening up to the west would be tantamount to regime change in Iran. For this regime a real dialogue with the United States will result in its demise by showing a crack in the regime’s sole reason to exits: to bring about an end to the west and impose a radical Islamist caliphate.

i hope it wont take long time , but i guess we need more pressure and we have to be fast,i mean as fast as we can. the secret part of regime is very strong. actually ,stronger than KGB.you are right about it and they using a system just like KGB but the Islamic one, that's why HALEH and KIAN were saying such lies on TV .
again PROPAGANDA. they couldn't arrest any navy or sailors so they did it that way and they used an old lady to show to world that we are able to do anything and no body can't stop us.
that is their favourite game ,like what they did to 15 British sailors.
they are doing this because they need a bit more time to complete their program and become a super power.
they are up to something very bad their problem is America that's all.
This Regime must be changed,it's very very bloody dangerous, they are going to get more stronger.
i say again ,America is their problem, why?!!
because western culture is chewing the Islamic culture from inside.to have a population with more than %70 under 30yr and all in love with western culture, regime is facing a deep problem,American did it ,they said.!
but ,we all know in Iran that Regime is the trouble maker not American and we rather to have an American life style instead of Islamic one.

Iran has ignored an important component of fact: nature. in the international Earth the wind often blows from the west to the east. If Iran have been to attack Israel with nuclear weapons the fallout might blow returned on the middle east farther than Iran. particular, Israel may well be crippled heavily, yet greater Arabs might die than Jews. Israel sits and waits. She does have long techniques. whilst the time is mandatory, the two tension from the U. S., Russia, Britain, China, France or the Arab states will nullify the possibility or Israel will end the possibility with decision and tension. Iran would desire to awaken and scent the neutrons.

Aren't we supposed to be doing a regime change in Iraq right now? Can't these crazed idiots keep bad governments out of power in any of their countries?
