Your destiny depends on where you lead yourself, or allow yourself to be lead. It is in your own hands where you will begin to end, and what you will have done with your limited time here. The possibilities are limitless, just as the boundaries of your imagination, but it is up to you to make things happen, and overcome the obstacles that are inevitably going to come your way.

I sincerely doubt that we are victims of destiny. In fact, I believe we weigh to heavily on destiny by blaming her for misfortunes that happen in our lives. As I look back on my own life I can't say that destiny had a hand in the decisions that cause things to go awry. I have to look at myself, realize that it was I who made the mistakes, and then try to learn from them. It is embarrassing to say that I am a very hard headed creature, but I have a tendency to make the same mistakes multiple times before finally giving into them and taking a different route. To shorten up what I am trying to say is, our actions in life create the destiny of our future. If we don't pay a bill today we will then have bad credit and can't buy what we want in the future. Is that destiny?

the problem with destiny is it can be altered by the most minute (my-noot) action. A person may have tons of talent to make them the best painter in the world but if that person takes no initiative towards that path then they will go in another direction. Destiny is not guaranteed.

Destiny, something that is bound to happen. I do think that parts of it can be changed, that destiny is an general thing and your actions makes it specific. Say that my destiny is to end up in London. I'm still the one that decides how I will travel there, how I will be living there and how I will feel about it, will I make the best of it or will I pout about ending up in London and not New York? It's all my choice.

destiny if one thing is about conjunction, if all aspects of your life are in conjunction, then you can control every aspect of your life, and that is what we call our destiny. If we don't have the conjunction in our life we will end up being a victim to causality, and then that will be your destiny... and you will have made true what John Lennon said: 'Life happens to you while you're busy making other plans.'

If you are in conjunction, you are also aware, and if you are aware, you have a deep control over every process of life.

So to answer your question in short destiny is what ever you make it to be. being unaware of choice is also a choice.

Destiny is unalterable. People believe in luck and happenstance. In my opinion the only things that happen, are the things that have happened. If it was not meant to be,it would not have happened. Therefore we are all on a path that is predestined, regardless to the twists and turns of fate.

Fate is what happens to us, and what we make of it, creates our destiny.

Fate is a set of scheduled events that will help us shape our personality and give us the necessary impetus to grow as a person and as a soul. Every hero who becomes so, uses his life challenges or fate as a spring board to propel himself into his higher potential or destiny, rather than seeing it as an condemnation.
