'When' the rapture happens, approximatly 20billion people will be brought out of the graves. They all will have to have bodies. It will take hundreds of billions of gallons of water, billions of pounds of carbon, iron, calcium etc. Atoms that used to be in their bodies will be in bodies that are alive then. How will we feed and water 20 billion extra people that first day? Where will they stand?
It is unacceptable to say...God will do it. God is a scientist. He always follows the laws of physics that he created.

You have asked your question to the wrong category. You will not get many straight answers to a religious question from a category roamed by bunch of atheists. But then they do not own the site. They would like to . That said, I believe you are really speaking of the second resurrection.

What is commonly referred to as the "rapture" is actually the first resurrection of true Christians and many of their godly predecessors (like Abel, Enoch , Noah, Abraham and some others) into the spirit realm to become literal children of God the Father. The resurrection of Jesus Christ was the first of many to come as yet in the future just prior to His return. The second resurrection , of which you speak is seen partially in the book of Ezekiel and will occur after the millinnium.
The earth will have been prepared for this astounding event for 1000 years. They will also be brought back to life, but this will be physical, material life as you have realized. These people will those who have lived throughout all ages of mankind who never had the opportunity to know of the true God and had never had the opportunity to show that they could be trusted with eternal life. They will have a short time to accept and obey almighty God just as those had done who were in the first resurrection.
This will be a massive act of God. I do not know how to tell Him how to do his business of salvation. I have faith (trust)that He knows what he is doing. After all - He has already created all that we can perceive and we don't know how that works either. Evolution is such a silly farce.
All we have to go on is the evidence already preserved for us regarding the first man he created. The Lord used the natural materials of the earth, just as you have said he would during the great resurrection. You have really answered your own question. It will just be a bigger job, but considering what has already been done, not all that difficult for a master builder.

By the way, the God of the Old Testament became Jesus Christ. (John 1; Heb 1) The salvation of mankind has been His project all along. The godhead is not a trinity. It has always been and is currently two separate and distinct perfect spirit beings.

The kingdom of God, is not the kingdom of man. The material universe is a "play pen" for his kids! And just like kids, we think we are much smarter than we really are. Think of the periodic table of elemants as a really cool set of legos, just to play with! "This far you may come"! Lucifer was cast down here too. The material world is satan's domain, not God's! You can't be "spiritual" and "materialistic" , it's like mixing oil and water. They both have a purpose, but don't mix well!! Oh and one more thing, quantum physics has shown that these so called great "laws" of physics, don't work all the time either. Hmmm......?

You're thinking under the assumption that the Rapture will actually happen, which it won't.

However, the default Christian answer to this would be, "God can do whatever the hell he pleases. How dare you question his awesomeness?"

So... you seek a scientific explanation for a wholly unscientific myth? Seems like an exercise in futility to me.
