I voted for him because I didn't want to dump his war on someone else. He needed a chance to clean up his own mess. First Republican I ever voted for. Hasn't turned out like I wanted.

First, the democrats had a horrible candidate. Very few people liked Kerry, even though he received loads of votes. Most people voted for him just because they did not want Bush. If they had chosen a better candidate, then maybe Bush would have lost.

Second, Bush played the fear game. People were really afraid of voting for someone new in the middle of the war on terror. Yes, people are that stupid.

Third, Bush plays it up to the Evangelicals who like his anti-abortion, anti-gay values. There are millions of Evangelicals in the US and they are a huge voting force because they are very politically motivated.

Because JOhn Kerry couldn't run an effective campaign and he mis-managed several issues. Bush won only because John Kerry was a weak candidate.

That's what I;d like to know . I don't know anyone who said they voted for him .
If only 35% of the American people voted in 2004 and about half voted for Bush , then that means less then 15% of Americans put him in office .
WOW !!!!

Your stupid.

People obviously reelected him because Kerry was a douce. Bush might not be a great president but if Kerry was I think it'd be much worse.

You are absolutely correct - Americans aren't that stupid. John Kerry couldn't run a day care center for pet goldfish, and the American people knew it.
