Actually I was going to say Texas.
That is where he spent most o fhis career.
Sure, I'd love him to go in wearing the Old English "D"...and he could...only because he is only 1 of 4 catchers to catch more than 2,000 games. He is a 14 time All Star (all as Catcher), and has won 13 Gold Gloves.

But we'll have to see. No matter what, he will be in The Hall Of Fame.

He spent the majority of his time in Texas, and that's where he put up his best seasons. That's where he really budded into a superstar, and it was as a Ranger that he won his only MVP award.

Although he's been gone from Texas for several years now, there's no doubt that it's still the Rangers with whom he's most associated. For that reason, he should go in as a Texas Ranger.

Detroit
Ivan Rodriguez is a first ballot HOF
He has 14 All-Star Game apperances and I believe 14 Gold Gloves
I say Detroit because he has made more of an impact so far in his stay with the Tigers and becausse of him improved the Tigers, overall, and helped them consistently reach the playoffs

I think it's the rangers because that was when he was at his best and he is absolutely in! First time ballot hall of famer. He has been the best catcher inn baseball for a decade. Catcher is the toughest position in baseball and there were times in his career when the best base stealers in baseball wouldn't run on him. I don't think there is any queston that pudge was one of the best catchers ever!

i think that pudge has a excellent shot at a first ballot hof b/c he has played the most games as a catcher all time (i think) and it would probably be the rangers or the marlins

So far, his biggest mark was made with the Rangers. That could change, he's not done yet and probably has several years left in him. But right now, Texas.

TIGERS! he led them to a world series most recently and more people will remember him as a tiger than a ranger or marlin

Texas, because that is where he was in his prime and had the most All-star games.
