can you believe the audacity of this administration.
While they filibuster every attempt democrats make to voice the american opinion, and bush and repubs have absolutely no progress in IRAQ's government to show for it,

Now Bush has cleverly inserted a payraise with more funding for this failed war, and expects to push democrats' hand by signing over yet another blank check.

Is the trick of the day to keep putting pressure and sneaking and hope the american public allows him to continue his idiocy!!!

When less than 30% of americans agree with this, what are we to do?

We should spend more. Even though there is no spending bill pending, President Bush has to focus peoples attention on sacrificing more and more.

President Bush is in the practice of passing the buck. That is the only area that he shows proficiency. I have a great idea: Instead of spending more money on a useless, death-making machine like this war, let's admit that these people don't want to live like us and begin withdrawal. The Republican party loves to shift blame to the left side when they can't get their way. They act like adolescents who are told they can't stay up late, so they pout like children...

Who are these pollsters asking? Is the poll weighted by population density? If so, then they miss a lot of respondents in what the media dismiss as "flyover country".
And, speaking of the funding of failed policies, how much did the hundreds of billions poured into various social projects beginning with the Great Society days of LBJ help? Are our inner city areas multi-cultural paradises? Hell no! They are the very pit of anarchy!

You have to admit, having soldiers in the field, defending your freedom to complain has a price tag. Leaving our troops on the field fighting for your freedom without bullets is just plain lame! Whether you agree with the war, or not, leaving the troops underfunded is truly a Democratic move that jeopardizes our country, our troops and our future ability to protect our country when we have no enlisted men due to their fear of no "funding".

If we are at war, it is a countries decision, not just a President. The election process put him there, now we have to live with him. Taking our spite out on the troops is idiotic.
