This may be the most important question the world faces today. How do we proceed against terrorist. Because most people do not think like a terrorist we put our own values to there thinking. It is hard for us to understand people who would kill you for the clothes you wear, for your religion, for what you might say.No one likes war but when you have a group of people who have proven they will kill at every opportunity how do the cheese eaters propose to fight them. Here is a fact no one can disputes Iraq has become a focal point for terrorist. People can not be in two places at once so when the fight in Iraq they can not be attacking other countries. What ever anyone thinks of the war in Iraq what do they think will happen if the forces fighting there pull out. Do they seriously think the terrorist will stop what they are doing.I for one want to hear there plan for handling terrorist and not just a cut and run policy, which if you study history just a little has never worked.

You are confused.
Cheese eating surrender monkeys are the French. They kicked out the anti-Iraq leaders in their last election and went Conservative. So did the Germans, Italians and Australians. In 2008 the Americans will do the same.

No. If you remember your history the German Waffen SS were told "fight to the last man. Never surrender". Look what they were famous for. It is not a case of "surrendering". It is a case of cutting losses, cleaning up as best as possible, and leaving the future of Iraq to themselves. Admittedly the US has made that a tad more difficult but as I say it is all about damage limitation now.

Nope. We're just folks that know lies when they are told to us and can clearly see when something is wrong.
And we wonder why anyone wants to defend the warrantless invasion and occupation of Iraq.
You know Iraq is a that drowning guy that you rush into the water to save and he thrashes around and you suddenly realize...hey this dude's going to drown me too. And you have five seconds to decide...drown with him or cut his butt loose.
That's right you cut his butt loose and save yourself.
I was a kid during Vietnam and never really understood why people felt compelled to march in the streets against that conflict. Well now I know...
Common sense...spread it...

I look at it this way. My preference is for us not to be there, but since we did commit there, we have to finish there, or it's like cracking open a beehive with a broom handle.
I really could use some brie and crackers right now.

The founders were propenents of limiting foriegn entanglments. While this is not best in all circumstances, it beats the hell out of the military adventurism that we are deaing with right now. That said, we started it, we should finish it.

Nope. Just patriotic Americans who want the defense of this country handled on non partisan, intelligent, non ideological grounds.

No.
We cannot "surrender" because there's nobody to surrender to. We're not fighting a single opponent.
We're not even one of the sides in the conflict. We are just there supporting one of the sides.

Yes, we love paying billions of dollars a year to see our troops getting killed in a never ending war for corporate profit and private interests.
