different opinions on entertainment....
hopefully you don't get any immature jerks who answer this question by bashing soccer though....
they fail to realize what I started off saying
different people have different ideas on what sports are fun to play/watch
However, American Football is starting to catch on other places. The Dolphins and Giants game in London sold out in well under an hour
the pre-season game last year in Mexico was packed
Canada has their own league....

You know there was actually an American Football World Cup that takes place every 4 years like soccer. Many teams from other countries were involved to try and qualify and these are real natives of there country not guys from the USA playing for other countries. Only six countries made it. This was the USA's first time being involved, needless to say we won it all but only by three in OT against Japan who had won the last two Cups. Its around just not as popular, cause it is also an expensive sport.

Many accuse the NFL of not being real football. Our style is different but it is the most awesome sport to watch. If there was a larger demand for the sport, someone would find a way to get American football into your home.

Personally I could care less. Why should I care if other countries participate in American Football? Believe me there aren't many people wondering if kids are playing street football in Pakistan. It's wildly popular here. If other countries don't like it, so be it. Not losing sleep over that.

You have to cultivate talent. Simple as that. Most countries were soccer is the #1 sport have youth soccer leagues everywhere while there are no "Pop Warner" leagues for american football simply because it hasnt caught on yet.
The same can be said for Soccer. It is the most popular sport in the WHOLE WORLD except here in America. Its all about different choices and different strokes for different folks.

NFL Europe was American football and so were the players and probably coaches. Canada and Australia have their own versions of football. Why doesn't anyone else play their versions?

the first problem is probably that we took a sport that already existed and created a whole other sport as if Americans invented "football". Additionally, other countries have had sports resembling "american football" for hundreds of years. You don't see the British calling Rugby British Rugby, etc.

Canada has a league, they play in Korea and Japan also. They just had the American Football World Cup in Japan, actually, and the Japanese team was good. Sweden and Germany put teams in, also.
