I wonder why they did not slam Republican Senator Richard Lugar when he asked for the same information?

Because he's not a presidential candidate for the other party.

Then again, Hillary voted against the person who sent her that letter when that person was up for confirmation before the Senate, so there's possibly a little bit of personal animosity there.

It wasn't "the pentagon" as a whole. It was Eric Edelman, a political hack appointed by the hackster in chief Dick Cheney.

This is standard practice likely to be more frequent leading up to the elections.

It's in the right-wing playbook: Blame a Clinton first, and if you can't blame a Clinton then blame the media, and if you can't blame either then blame liberalism itself. Then you can always blame that drunken driver in New England. No, not Bush, Ted Kennedy. Can't blame Ted? Happy 85th Birthday, George McGovern, here's your present: Blame from the right-wingers! Can't blame him? Well, they're dead now, but we could always blame LBJ! Alger Hiss! FDR! Lincoln!

"I guess there's no easy way to say that I have sinned." Bill Clinton was man enough to say it and admit his immoral mistake. But then, he's 10 times the man George W. Bush is, and Hillary is five times the woman Bush is.

Lugar is paid by the REPUBLICAN PARTY to slam the democrats. He got feathers in his hat for that.

Lugar isn't running for President.

Hillary should stay clear of the building.

B/c he did not, I read the article.
It clearly shows she is demanding information that would aid the enemy in an evil attempt to grandstand, she does not care about anything, or anyone, butt herself. She lacks the education to make intelligent decisions about any steps in the war.

It was purely a political jab from the right. Hillary better watch her step though. She might end up in a FEMA detention center for aiding the terrorists.

Edit: I might point out that the "world" doesn't want to see the war plans. "Congress" wants to see the war plans. The ones Bush doesn't want anyone to see...Big difference.

I guess even the Pentagon engages in partisan politics. Unbelievable...

There both wrong. Since when in history have we published war plans? We didn't pass laws saying, "OK lets liberate france next" it's absurd to ask for war plans and let the world see them.
