6 months into my 1 year lease i told my landlord i was leaving. I broke the lease after giving her 2 months notice. How long does she have to sue me??? i live in pennsylvania.

The house was sold a month ago. can she still make a claim against me now that she is not the owner?

Well you gave her 2 months notice. A landlord to a property is obligated to find a suitable replacement within a reasonable amount of time. Read your lease front and back. It may say something about you giving proper notice in the event you wish to break the lease. Often times it's 30 days and you forfiet your security deposit. If so you don't have much to worry about unless you owe back rent. However it don't matter that the proprty is sold. If there's issues ith money concerning that property you can still end up in court. But a court very well may find that you gave a reasonable notice. Check the lease.

Statute of limitations in PA is not less than three years, possibly longer. Litigation for broken contracts can be pursued up to the statute of limitations on doing so.
