With power comes responsibility and I think the US has let themselves down here. You also need to look at news beyond your borders. There is a whole world out there but as one American told me "Our country is so big we don't need or want to look at foreign news". Fair enough. Because like so many of the other posters...too many good Americans just look the other way and pat themselves on the back...and tell themselves America is so great.
It was once and can be again...but we need to get out the very moral compass so many Americans pretend to follow and actually use it.
