Yes, just don't leave it in once it's up there. Try using some KY jelly or another lubricant to help it along, and don't forget to relax. Try several different positions for insertion: the box suggests inserting a tampon while sitting on the toilet, but I find it easiest while standing.

Good luck!

You can, but it's not the best idea. It will hurt when you take the tampon out of your bodu because there is not enough wetness. It is best to wait until you have your period before trying tampons.
If a tampon is inserted propery, you shouldn't feel it at all. If it hurts, it means that it is not in correctly.

I wouldn't advise it - it would be very uncomfortable because your period acts as lubrication to keep the tampon in place, so without it, it will feel very dry and could cause problems. If it's in right, you barely feel a thing. You know it's in wrong if it's sore or if you can feel its placement when you clench your pelvic floor muscles (the muscles you use to stop the flow when you're on the loo). You'll get used to them as you use them more, so don't stress.

you could but just make sure you dont leave it too long when you're on your period only leave it in for about 4 or 5 hours, it doesn't hurt a bit...it did the first time but that was because i didn't insert it the right way when you are inserting it in relax your muscles and that will make it alot more easy and alot more confortable...hth

I would'nt advise it. But you can try. It's going to hurt a little going in. But once its in there all way you can't feel it. Don't leave it in there too long or else you could be at risk of getting TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome). Hope I helped!

I suppose you can, but you'd want to use some kind of lubricant. It can really hurt if you aren't ready for it. Talk to your mom!
