I am composing a list of the most irritating cliches in the present day. Please feel free to add .... this is fun to see what others think. My list begins with #1 being the most irritating.

1. LOL - please........... can't anyone be more original than sticking this in every sentence!!

2. Outside of the box - a new expression corporate execs love to toss around.

3. Going forward..... ugh! another corp exec worn out expression.

Have fun adding - I am still getting more together.

"Being PROACTIVE rather than REACTIVE."
I hate that term. What it really means is having the mental capacity for a little foresight and conclusive reasoning...UGH...do we need a whole cliche for that?

"Validating feelings." Feelings are what they are. So how does one "invalidate feelings?" We already have words for this stuff, "Empathy" and "inconsiderate."

Great question, I could go on and on and on...

"Cutting Edge Technology"

I have to fight with corporate clients to keep that out of their websites, brochures and other corporate communications.
