i like the front as leaders are always in the front and the sensation u get when in front is pretty much more than having an elastic jump.

Depends on the roller coaster. Normally the front is scary because you are seeing everything right befor it happens. The middle carts you don't feel as big of a drop. And the back carts you feel the most drop. If the drops are big on the coaster then i put my hands in the air if the drops are small i hang on because it's pointless to put your hands in the air.

i am a ride operator at a major amusement park and i can say that, The roller coaster i operate, the most popular spot to set is at the front, People tell me it is a bigger thrill because they get more of a rush rather then the back. But i have a good majority that like to set in the back also because that arent able to see the turns and dips.

well for the view i suggest the front. for the air time (weightliftness feeling) the back is the best. if i was scared i would ride in the middle and would not pit my hands up. i always put my hands up, unless the ride is rough.

I like middle the best. Front is good for getting a better view of what's coming and back is good for you get pulled over the top of the hills faster.
